AutumnCare forms changes Go-Live.
Regis will be affected in a number of ways by the changes to residential assessments and funding. A National Aged Care Classification (AN-ACC) is the proposed model that will eventually replace ACFI following the recommendations of the Royal Commission into Aged Care.
An industry review conducted in 2017 found ACFI to no longer be effective. Overall, it is inefficient, expensive, and does not align funding to meet resident care needs. AN-ACC will improve on these shortfalls by expanding to home care with a new funding and finance model. The redesigned landscape involves Regis assessing residents holistically, considering their physical capacity, cognitive capacity, mental health needs, and behavioural patterns.
AutumnCare will include several new assessment tools and forms, and will gradually modify Daily Living Forms, decommissioning any remaining ACFI references or forms.
